Every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Lee County Alliance for the Arts hosts a market offering a great selection of locally grown, caught and cultivated foods from small growers and local individuals. Other attractions include live entertainment, kids' activities and cooking demonstrations. Bring a mat and join the free yoga session each week at 9:30 a.m.
2. Art Walk/Music Walk
River District

Enjoy these mini-arts festivals twice a month in downtown's vibrant River District. Art Walk, held on first Fridays, is a chance to view works on display at galleries, museums and shops. On third Fridays the focus turns to music, with live performances from acts showcasing a variety of musical styles including jazz, rock and blues.
3. Dog Beach Park

Why should four-legged family members miss out on the fun? Take in the beautiful ocean views while your dog romps in the surf. A doggie shower is onsite so your pet can clean up before heading home. The park is open 7 a.m. until dusk seven days a week.

You never know what treasures you may find at this popular destination featured on Travel Channel. Approximately 900 stores offer more than one million unique items including jewelry, handbags, books, home decor and holiday items. When you're ready for a break, take in the live entertainment at the music hall stage.
5. Lakes Regional Park

With attractions like splash pads and miniature railroad rides, this 279-acre facility is like nature's amusement park. Walk, bike or run along the 2.5 miles of trails or work out at the total body fitness stations. Catch sight of an egret, heron or the occasional alligator alongside the freshwater quarry lake, which is also open to fishing.
