Enjoy “Miles of Smiles” at the Oklahoma State Fair

It's State Fair time again. What is it about corn dogs and just about anything that comes on a stick that has people dreaming of the Oklahoma State Fair? Because food, fun and entertainment are what the state fair is all about. This year's fair runs from September 17-27 and offers food, great rides, fantastic shows, and "miles of smiles." Here are a few of the things you can expect at this year's fair.

Disney on Ice

The Disney on Ice show features Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff and the land of Arendelle on ice. The show is hosted by Mickey and Minnie Mouse and will feature appearances by the Disney Princesses. Call or visit the website for information on tickets and times for shows.

Xtreme Bulls

The PRCA Xtreme Bulls Tour is one show you don’t want to miss. The show takes place on 2 action-packed nights that are sure to be filled with excitement and high-energy. Skilled riders will take on fierce bulls followed by a country music concert. The Casey Donahew Band will be performing on September 25th at 7:30 p.m.; the Gary Alan will perform on September 26th at 7:30 p.m.

Thrills and Chills-Rides

The Quasar, The Screamer, And The Power Surge will have you on the edge of your seat and wanting more. There are also rides for the little ones in Lil Partnerland, a section of rides just for the kiddos. Choo Choo Charlie, Bear Affair, and The Bumble Bee will thrill the youngsters.

Wine and Beer Garden

Come sip a glass of wine or enjoy a nice cold beer under the canopy in the beer garden. Listen to the music and relax, or enjoy some great fair food and drinks in the shade.
