Hip-hop meets classical at this creative reworking of the holiday classic. A dozen all-star dancers, a DJ and a violinist enact the story of Maria-Clara and her Nutcracker prince traveling back in time to her parents' first meeting at a club in 1980s Brooklyn. Hip-hop legend Kurtis Blow will be on hand as the special guest MC. Performances are scheduled for Tuesday, November 21 and Wednesday, November 22 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $28.50 to $68.50.

Sparkling lights help to create that magical holiday ambiance. Be there when the glow goes up in Burnsville at the 19th annual Winter Lighting Ceremony. The ceremony takes place at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, November 22.
