Freud’s Last Session at Harbor Playhouse

Between November 6th and 8th, you can sit in on a play set in 1939 that features conversations between Sigmund Freud and C.S. Lewis and listen as they discuss the meaning of life. You can expect a lively exchange of opinions between the infamous atheist and the young Christian that will leave you with plenty to think about in the following days.

Harbor of Lights Festival
Bayfront Marina /Along North Shoreline Ave.

The 33rd annual Harbor of Lights Festival is set for December 6th when the Bayfront marina will be transformed into a Winter Wonderland complete with a children’s parade, inflatable games, cookie decorating stations, live entertainment, and lots of food vendors. Fun for the entire family, this event brings everyone together to share joy and encouragement for the coming year ahead.

Chiara Quartet Concert

The Chiara String Quartet is among America’s most well-respected ensembles and has been together for 14 years. They play from memory, a centuries-old tradition in which they use no sheet music. On November 21^st, this talented group of musicians will present music by Bartok, Brahms and Ravel in a concert you won’t want to miss.

The Corpus Christi Downtown Management District will present an outstanding art festival on the first Fridays of November and December. More than 60 local businesses and 11 art galleries are scheduled to come together and introduce art created by a host of established and new artists. Chances to win free art, live music performances, and free activities for children will be featured.
